    Try this…
import 1080×1920 30p clip from EX3 into vegas 9.0b using built in capture utility not the 3rd party clip browser. (all worked as it should)

Now take the clip that was imported with 9.0b from the destination folder and try to import into Vegas 8.0c…It will not import.

If you notice pro9 footage etc, is not compatible with pro8

I thought only projects were not compatible?

Yes your are correct it is projects… however when i have captured footage and tried to use it under vegas pro8 it will not open…

I’m not sure… but I have been having tons of problems with vegas pro9, I’ve had to convert back to pro8 and I’m demanding a refund from Sony… I have never had so many problems with vegas pro before

Have you contacted SONY about this “bug”? Is it a known issue? I don’t have an EX3, but I would still like to know what has been done to enquire of SONY? I’ve been reading a lot about EX3 and VEgas, I haven’t come across this one before?

    Grazie

OK, no bug here. It is a feature in VP9 not included in VP8, that means you need to rewrap for VP8. Apparently it only takes seconds.

    Grazie
