Vegas Pro 9.0a wont Render HD AVI
Hello,
I am a user of Vegas since version 4 and now working with Pro 9.0a. One of the reasons I upgraded to 9 was for it’s increased ability to handle HD video.
For some reason, when I try rendering in HD quality using the AVI Default setting, it renders but it slows down the footage and clips the audio to pieces. When I say clips, I mean like stutters through the audio.
If I render in just AVI Best (something like that), it renders fine but the output is 720×480 instead of the HD 1920×1080.
I have tried every possible adjustment in the settings, using custom, etc to no avail.Also, FYI, I am using a Panasonic HMC150, shooting 24P mode. It registers the footage at 23.976 and other than this problem with HD AVI output, everything else seems to work fine.
I have uninstalled 9.0 and reinstalled 3 times.

Never use the default setting. Always select a render template that matches your deliver format. What format are you trying to deliver? Web? PC? DVD? Blu-ray?
