i want to buy vegas pro 9
The fact that R3D files are supported is great…
But, are my P2 mxf files supported?
i tried the software it seems to crash if the time line goes over 60 minutes? (2k 2:1 Red files were used)
Can one project have one timeline…. i own 2 avid media composers… with Avid you can create any number of timelines at any length…Can you open another project and copy paste the timeline material into another timeline?

intel Dual quad core WS mobo
Eight core 5440 2.5 GHz
12GB ram
XP pro X64 OS
Quadro fx 4400 pci-e 512mb Graphics card
Adaptec 5405 256mb cache raid card with 2TB sata raid

Not that I’m aware of.

Red file usage is brand new to Vegas so maybe you’ve found a bug.
Email Sony Tech Support and ask them.“Can one project have one timeline”
Unlike Avid and some other NLEs, Vegas is limited to a single timeline per project.

Lots of us do this all the time.
Be aware that certain things like keyframes in Track Motion will not copy over. -
WHen I import a clip onto Sony Vegas, the end gets cut off. Like a minute of it or so. But the original file is just fine. What’s wrong and how do I fix it?
