Vegas Pro 8 – photos – clip length – velocity envelopes – time lapse
Hi, grrr, search, grrr, useless Vegas help!!!
Okay. Vegas Pro 8.
Importing still photos into timeline for time lapse. Vegas applies a set length to each photo. When using stills for time lapse I import heaps of photos. How can I select all photos/clips and dictate the length of all of them; automated please? Vegas default clip length for stills is too long.
Next problem. Velocity. How do I introduce a velocity envelope over all clips, over an entire track? Velocity envelopes cover all clips in sound tracks but I can’t work out how to do this with images/clips; Vegas applies individual envelopes to each clip. I need to speed up the stills to the same degree.
So far I have to do this clip by clip and that’s impossible; well it’s tedious to say the least.

You can change the length of the images when imported on the
timeline in the ‘preferences’ option.
And as you say you want a quicker workflow, you can checkout
