Vegas Pro 8 and h.264
Posted by Nigel Ellis on October 19, 2007 at 5:53 amHi,
I have just upgraded to Vegas Pro 8. In the render options I can no longer find the option for MP4 H.264. Am I going mad? Where did it go – or did my eye sight go?Tj Mccormick replied 18 years, 4 months ago 3 Members · 2 Replies -

i’m looking for a good combination to put video on my website. I’m using a flash movie generator called coffee cup video player which creates the .flv file, but i’m still a little disappointed in how my videos look (ex. https://www.inside-vegas.com/videos.html).
this particular file is rendered as .wmv file, video rendering quality best, mode cbr, format windows media video 9, image size animation (320 x 240), pixel ar 1.333, and frame rate half ntsc.
i just found out that h.264 may have a better streaming capability, so i’m interested in trying that.
instead of spending hours playing with settings, i was wondering if you have a suggestion for creating h.264 videos for web play. I’m looking to keep the files of :60 to :90 around 10-15mb.
thanks for your help, TJ McCormick, Inside-Vegas.com
