Vegas Pro 15 no audio when importing mp4

I have recently encountered an issue when importing an MP4 file into Sony Vegas Pro 15 for editing. When played in a regular mp4 player there is audio, but once imported into Vegas the audio is not present on the timeline. Any suggestions?

What are the details of the MP4 file you are trying to import but my wild guess is this:
