Vegas Pro 14 Reading 24fps as 25
Vegas Pro 14, 64 bit. I import a ProresHQ.mov file that is 24fps – I checked it in Mediainfo and it’s constant frame rate – into the Vegas project (1920×1080, 24p etc) – the file reports as 25fps in the media bin.
Any ideas? I’ve tried it a number of times in different projects and it always reports as 25fps.
I opened the file in various players, such as VLC, where it reports as 24fps.

Interesting…. What are your Project Settings? Have you matched your Project to the Media? But yes, this is odd indeed.

Project settings are:
1920×1080
24fps
progressive
resample disabled
source media not set to match project settings (I’ve tried both and it makes no difference)The file was, so far as I know, a straight copy of an HD transfer from 35mm film done at 24 fps.
That’s all I know.
