Hi! This is my first time to post here in Creative Cow.

Im using vegas pro 13 and I noticed that when I import a video the audio suddenly chance in tone. Some of the audio details were removed, the tone became colder.

Is there any way to fix this?

My routine now is to convert the video to mp3 using other programs then import the video and then replace the audio with the converted mp3. This hassles me.

Thanks! I hope you got my explanation.

Are you saying that prior to using the “video” content inside Vegas, you can play this media in a media player and the audio is fine — but once inside Vegas, the audio somehow changes in tone?

Does this happen with everything? Or just with this particular media?

Yes. It happens on all video that I edited in vegas pro.

I created a sample video to compare.

This is the raw file with no edit done in vegas pro: https://youtu.be/8HNu5XPSdQw

And this is the rendered video in Vegas pro: https://youtu.be/wDFTPH99K1g

How to disable this? I dont know if this is the audio normalization in vegas pro? I dont have any idea how to fix this.

    Thanks!

I don’t hear much difference — actually I don’t hear any difference. But if you do, then keep doing the workflow that makes it right for you.

Could you compare it on the first stanza?

Is this something to do with audio normalization or something? I checked all the settings I dont know if I missed something.
