Vegas Pro 13 problem
I’ve just started using Vegas Pro to edit video to upload to youtube.
I have one video edited and ready to render, but when I click render i believe its trying to render the FULL video, instead of what i have cut out of it.Finished edited time is about 12 minutes, and before i edited the video was almost 40.
I think its trying to render the full 40 minutes instead of the 12, how do i fix this??

Unless you check the option to only render a timeline selection, Render will render the entire timeline. Your timeline should only be 12 minutes long so normally this isn’t a problem. If you have other unused video on the timeline, remove it so that you timeline only contains the video you want to keep.

To avoid this problem, I ALWAYS mark a beginning and ending point for the render. Position the cursor at the begging of the video, and press the “I” key. Position the cursor at the end, and press the “O” key. Be sure the render option “Render loop region only” is checked, and you are good to go.

I looked and didn’t see an option of the sort, but I will check again and look a little harder!

You need to fist make a loop region on the timeline for that option to become enabled:

John beat me to it. You can just drag your curser over the time line time count to create your loop points as well as the (I) and (O) keys.
