Almost afraid to ask this one, as I fear the answer is no from the screen shots. Vegas is my tool of choice, but the interface on 12 is still way too light. Have they finally addressed this?

I know, I can download the trial, but just cannot get to it.

Sorry to burst your bubble Joe, But the alternate color scheme is the
    same shade as Vegas 12.

You can always switch to the classic color theme and have a dark Windows theme.

    Hi John,

I have tried several themes, and cannot get the typical dark interface as with other apps. There is the high contrast black windows theme, but with blinding white text. I have even tried a third party theme tool, but forgot what it was called. It got close, but seemed to mess up other windows and break some menus.

If you have found a solution, I would love to know. I was even tempted by the Premiere CC trial, and the look was great. Turns out it is (or was) broken, and nowhere nearly as intuitive as Vegas.

No, actually, I hate those dark themes. I find them extremely difficult to see. In fact, I stopped using Mocha Pro because the interface is so hard to see anything. They should fire whoever designed it.

Premiere Pro is an entirely different beast. I’ve tried to use it several times because it’s part of CS6 but I don’t know how people tolerate it’s archaic way of working. As for CC, it’s a bad deal for independent editors so I’ve stayed away from it.
