V13, V12 and V11 all display that the AJA LHi card as UNAVAILABLE when AJA’s latest 10.5.1×64 driver is installed, under preview monitor preferences tab.

The AJA LHi card shows as available in V13 & V12 but only plays a green ugly screen when AJA’s older 10.4.1 drivers are installed.

The AJA LHi card works correctly ONLY with AJA drivers 10.4.1 or older drivers are installed while using V11 to play 4k and 5k epic video.

We continue to edit in V11 because it is the only version that functions with our Red Epic workflow and AJA LHi preview device. We would have probably purchased many licenses for V12 and V13 but it doesn’t work.

I remember reading something about AJA stuff in the release notes under known issues.

“When using an AJA SDI device, AJA driver version 10.1 is required for audio and video preview. Do not use driver version 10.3.”

Would this be applicable to your situation.

Thanks, but the 10.1 driver doesn’t help. AJA LHi card doesn’t work to display 4 or 5k epic R3D files. on Sony Vegas 13 with any of the drivers. So I re-installed most current AJA LHi driver for best performance in my premier workflow. Thank goodness my LHi still functions with Premiere.
