    Hello,
I’m having a problem with rendering in Sony Vegas Pro 13 for a while.
As soon as I press the ‘Render as’ button, the application crashes.
There is no way I can render my videos.

On crashing, I get the following info:

    Fault Offset: 0x0000000000005DEF

    Fault Process Details

Can anyone help me? This is kinda urgent.

First thing! Download and install the latest build 444 and see
    if it goes smoothly.

    [Dev Mehta] “Fault Module: C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\tsccvid64.dll”

That is the TechSmith Screen Capture Codec used by Camtasia and SnagIt. Do you have either of these installed? If so, I would try uninstalling them temporarily to see if it fixes the problem. If it does, try re-installing from the latest version and see if it works. If it breaks Vegas Pro again, contact TechSmith and see if they can help.

Of course updating to the latest Vegas Pro Build 444 before trying this as Steve suggested.

    Hey John!
I did some more looking into. Turns out it was the .dll files of Camtasia Studio 8 I uninstalled a few months ago that was causing the problem. So I went ahead and deleted it. Later, It crashed becaause of another TechSmith Plug-In. So I went ahead and deleted all plug-ins related to TechSmith since I don’t use their softwares anyway.
This solved all my problems related to Vegas Pro crashing.

Hope this would help any of you.

Thanks for all the help anyaway!

    🙂

That’s what I thought it was. Glad removing them fixed it for you.
