Vegas Pro 13
Been a user of Sony Vegas Pro 7, 8 and 9. Love the program! Just recently upgraded to Pro 13.
On the timeline of Pro 13, confused about a few things, Automation read-Touch-latch???? There’s a red line under the audio timeline? What is this??
It MAYBE something I may use in the future, BUT, for now I just want it to be like it was in version 9…Thanx in advance,

It’s an Automation Envelope. You must have inserted one by accident. Right-click the audio track and select FX Automation Envelopes | FX Automation… and turn off whatever automation you added. You can also hide the envelopes but if you didn’t mean to insert one, it’s best to remove it.

Thanks John! I shut it off. Looked for a way to remove it, not sure how?

Right-click the audio track and select FX Automation Envelopes | FX Automation… and you will see a window with all of the plug-ins and check boxes next to each parameter that can be automated. Select each of the plug-ins and clear all of the checkboxes and that will turn off whatever automation you added.
