Out of curiosity, does version 12 ship with a new version of DVD Architect Pro?

It ships with a minor update to DVD Architect 5.2.

[Tom Pauncz] “Wait until you receive your upgrade invitation, assuming you are already a Vegas user.”

I have been on Vegas 8 and have never received an upgrade invitation, apart from the one that pops up when starting Vegas (Net Notify). I didn’t even get an email, despite registering my interest. The last cheap upgrade was performed using a link posted to this forum for $139.95 around about this time last year. Hopefully someone gets one such invitation and posts it.

Obviously you didn’t get the secret decoder ring in your most recent box of breakfast cereal 🙂
Go to “My Account – My Software” on the Sony site and you’ll see a list of products at the bottom that you can upgrade.
Clicking the “Buy Now” button gives you the special price.
    Happy shopping!

There does seem to be some inconsistency about what My Account / My Software and clicking the Buy Now shows. I for one did get a couple of days ago what Mike describes. Now I get the promotional price only through the special e-mail link.

Tried that. My price still comes up as $189, even after placing it in the cart. Maybe it is only available to US customers 🙁

Nigel, I believe this price is for anyone who wants to upgrade.

See if https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/upgrade/vegaspro gets you the good price.
If not, then call Customer Service.

Nigel, something wrong with your account.
I’m from AU as well, in my profile the country is AU and I still see discount when I click the link “Buy Now” in My Software.

I had the same problem, the discount showed in my account but didn’t follow through when clicked to buy. I called, they answered quickly, and gave me the discounted price.
