December 20, 2013 at 6:47 pmHave you narrowed it down to a single media file?

December 20, 2013 at 6:47 pmNo, if I try and render from half way through, it still happens.

December 20, 2013 at 7:41 pmSee if you can narrow the problem down to a single media file. Try rendering only one file in a test project, then add a second, and then a few more.

December 31, 2013 at 2:54 amI have this problem as well: after carefully setting rendering settings on Vegas for a DVD Architect widescreen template the render goes to about 75% and stops. The clock keeps ticking but nothing happens. The program then will not close. I get an error message saying “the program is waiting for a response from you.” But, no button that I click on reacts. I have to open Windows Task Manager to force a shutdown.
That 75% of render is indeed rendered, tho incomplete and useless. The same thing happens when I choose render to a DVD Architect template for Blu-ray.
The only way I have been able to get a successful complete render is to render twice. First I render the entire project (70 mins of AVCHD video) using render to HD 1080 60i. All my video files have been converted to proxies, and render setting is at Best so the original files are accessed.
Then I open this rendered file with audio back into Sony Vegas and choose render to a DVD Architect widescreen template. This time the “pre-rendered” project renders again completely.
Then when I open it in DVD Architect and set it up to burn as a Single Film it works.
This seems crazy to render it twice. I could really use some help.
Also, anyone had any luck with Sony Vegas paid help support?
Thanks,
