Vegas Pro 12 Premium?
I just noticed this on Sony’s website. It seems to be a new product, but it doesn’t seem that you can buy it direct from Sony. Does anyone know exactly what this version of Vegas is all about?

Did you miss the big red “Find a Dealer” button? This is a retail-only product.

No I didn’t miss it – as I mentioned in my original post, “it doesn’t seem that you can buy it direct from Sony”. In other words, I just found it strange that Sony is selling this one product only through retailers.
But I wasn’t asking how to purchase it. I’m wondering what it is and how it’s different from their other Vegas Pro software.

Looks like you are paying the Vegas Pro product plus a “180 day support plan”, whatever that is. The product appears to be the same.
Why pay for “support” when there are plenty of great people on this forum will to provide top advice for the princely sum of $0.
It helps if you attempt to RTFM and refer to the many online tutorials i.e. have a go first, before seeking help.
Just reading through the posts in this forum can teach you a helluva lot.
