Vegas Pro 12 hangs on load
Vegas Pro 12 hangs on load hangs on loading “Creating file I/O manager”. This only just happened and it was after using Sound Forge 11 to convert vinyl to mp3.

Hmmm… Sounds like using SF has activated your VSTs and DXs Plugs and that the hang COULD be the same VSTs DXs Folders now need to be re-scanned. The I/O is indicating to me that ALL folders need rescanning.
OK Hold down the CTRL+SHIFT when booting up VP12. You WILL loose all your present settings, we’ve all done this – keep going.

You can also go in Task Manager and kill whatever is causing a hang.
