Hello everyone, first sorry for my bad english that is not my usual language.

I have to export a video in .mov or mp4 but with one of this codec

     Photo-JPEG (quality level between 75 and 90)

    MJPEG

    Motion JPEG A

    Motion JPEG B

    Apple ProRes 422

    Apple ProRes 4444

    DNxHD

H.264 (minimum bitrate of 50,000 kbps)

My problem is that I dont know how to make that .When I click to render in mp4 I dont see the codec option I’ve try to click on another format (dont remember wich one) and in this format I see the codec option but none of the codec in the list are ine the option that I can choose. And the second bigger problem is when I want to render in .MOV and want to put my own requirements  .It doesnt work.I click on “edit the format”(sorry I have the software in french I dont know what is called the button this is the buton to change parameters before rendering) .When I click on this button Sony Vegas always shut down the screen freeze the cursor is locked at loading icon. And I have to restart the computer (it makes that only when I try to “edit” .Mov rendering)
If I render in .Mov without trying to ” edit ” the rendering option it works .
If I try to “edit” othertypes of rendering it works.

I dont know if someone would read that and understand my bad english but if yes thank you in advance

    Jennifer

Hi Jennifer, That’s pretty good English for a non speaker. (I speak zero French although I did try to learn some before a trip to Belgium but when I got there everyone spoke so fast I couldn’t understand anything) ☹

You can make an MP4/H.264 50,000 kbps file using the Render Type:

MainConcept AVC/AAC with the Internet HD 1080p template.

Press the Customize Template button and under Variable bit rate change the Average (bps): to 50,000,000 in the drop down and save this as a new template and render with it. That should produce what you need.
