I’ll be upgrading just for the gpu-enhanced features. Normally Mike or someone here posts a link to a discounted upgrade offer before each release, so I’ll have to keep my eye out.

Is there any word yet as to WHEN Sony’s going to be releasing Pro 11? (I mean something more specific than “Fall 2011”).

More 3D stuff? The acceleration doesn’t seem substantial and certainly not for my i7-2600K setup.

Honestly, Vegas Pro 11 seems like a great version to skip and wait for V 12. I really don’t see many benefits other than more canned plugins. Would rather they have included a better version of Mercalli for that money and improved much of the awkward Windows 3.1 type work environment that hasn’t changed in years.
