Vegas Pro 10c quits on load
🙁 The old problem with loading projecys is back.. it stops somewhere between 10 and 43% saying Vegas has stopped, and then exits off the screen.

Where is 10d? Although I don’t think it will solve the problem.

This may not be the problem but I have occassionally saved my projects as a “save as” and made the mistake of saving in the same directory that had been saved to previously. Well, Vegas doesn’t overwrite the files, it makes new ones and adds 000 to the file name and you’re left with double files and a mess of new names clips.
I’ve had trouble loading Vegas once this has happened. Check your files to see if you have a lot of extra clips. -
Thanks for the idea.. but no, no extra files. The problem occurs before I get a chance to “save as” anyway. Stephen Mann came up with some thoughts, and for a while all was well, then like the Cat Who Came Back…. it did.
