Activity Forums VEGAS Pro Vegas Pro 10 files not opening

    Like I said, you may have to convert the non-standard footage that this camera produces in order to be able to edit it. It’s probably a fine camera for people who just want to shoot and watch or upload to YouTube… not so good for people who want to edit. 🙁

    When I upgraded to Vegas 10, it quit importing files from the Flip for me as well (64-bit OS/64-bit Vegas). Upgrading to the latest version of Xvid at xvid.org fixed the problem for me. Hopefully that will help you too.

    Xvid huh, not divx? Unrelated, but that seems oddly similar.. Codecs are confusing. I’ll have to give it a try. If anything I’ll contact support for the camera and see if there’s a way to change the format type… It’s kind of disappointing that phone cameras can do more and I just got this…. :-/
