vegas pan/crop render totally different than preview
Hi guys, I was wondering if someone could give me a little help with this. I just tried to make a short video that involved using pan/crop, and in the preview everything looks perfect. But when I output the video everything looks really wacky.
One thing I can think of is that in the settings, I changed the aspect ratio of the clip that is being pan/cropped so it would fit better into what I was trying to do. But it seems like it must be something other than that, because some of the differences are just weird (clip getting huge for a second and then small again…sizing is totally off… Here’s a link for the way it looks right now

EDIT: nevermind, the thing with the clip getting huge for a second does show up in preview, I must have screwed something up just before rendering. The rest looks fine in preview though.

The secret is to make your project resolution and apsect exactly the same as your render resolution and aspect. Then when you go into Pan/Crop, the first thing you must do is right-click on the frame and select Match Output Aspect. After that, everything should line up when you crop it and it will remder just as it looks in your project.

It sounds like you might be making extra keyframes when you don’t want to. Make sure that Sync Cursor is Off unless you really want to make a keyframe at the exact place on the timeline that you are changing the Pan/Crop parameters.

I am using Vegas 13 Pro, I made a video with photos panned, but now some are perfect some are distant from the original point, how to correct it.
I have tried Rendering it in 360,480,720, as Match Media is not there, but have no avail.Kindly help.
