‘Vegas Movie Sudio’ book – works with Vegas 5?
I have VASST’s ‘Instant Vegas Movie Studio + DVD’ which is a great book full of good tips & tricks for the newcomer.
How relevant is it though, to Sony Vegas 5?
I’m switching from VMS to Vegas 5. Do both programs have similar controls, interfaces, and work techniques?. I’m thinking of returning ‘Instant Vegas’ and getting a Vegas 5 book, but if the Movie Studio techniques will work for Vegas 5, then I’ll keep it.
Actually, the reason for my question is because I’ve also got ‘Naked Vegas 5’ by D. Sahlin, and he doesn’t seem to cover J & L cutting, which oddly, ‘Instant Vegas Movie Studio + DVD’ a beginners book, does.

Since Movie Studio is a stripped down version of Vegas, pretty well all of it should apply. There may be some differences (for example, the actual rendering process) but, overall, it should apply.
