    Hello

I am using Sony Vegas pro 9.

i have two .m2ts files and cannot import them correctly, each time i do it both the video and the audio stream appear however there is no video in the preview box. I will hit play and only audio is heard.

To Note: A thumbnail of the files video appears in project media.

The files are fine and work in other programs

    Thank You.

If you have the ‘trimmer’ open, check that the “Show Video Monitor” button is NOT turned on.

    Cheers for now,

If one of those files is not too large (or you can put them on some sharing site) I can download and see what happens on my system, to eliminate any setup issues.

BTW .. what exact version Vegas 9 are you using?

    Cheers for now,

OK .. the latest build of Vegas Pro 9 is 9.0e build 1147.

I’d start by updating your software to that level.

    Cheers for now,

    Emilio,

Might be time to make use of SONY’s support.

    You can start here.

They have a searchable knowledge base and if you don’t find the answer you can open a support ticket.

Another option would be to download a trial version of Vegas Pro 10 (9 & 10 can co-exist on the same computer) and give it a shot.

    Cheers for now,
