Vegas lags on selecting file(s)
Hello
I’ve recently updated to Vegas 10 and run into extremely annoying bug(?) with it, when i click on video file in explorer, it lags, takes program into non-responsive state and around 10-15secs to select file. If i was unfortunate enough to click on large file (5gb+) it might even stop working entirely.
There are no lags on timeline, editing, rendering or anything else. just selecting the file and it drives me nuts.
The only thing i’ve changed since 9.0 (it was working fine back then) i’ve upgraded my hard drive and upgraded Vegas to 10.
Any help would be appreciated.comp specifications-

GTX260
1TB +2TB external (files are NOT on external drive) -

Vegas is having a hard time recognizing the file type, is it a Fraps made video? Look at the Creative Cow Vegas forum post one or two after yours and watch the video where someone else has the exact same problem.

I just posted the solution to get this working in that thread. You’ll probably see my post anyway if you are following it, but I am posting in this thread also to make sure.
