August 28, 2013 at 10:29 pmI have found out more about this problem, it seems to be indeed not my problem at all!
I took a look at some other MP4 files that I did not put through vegas and to my surprise they have the same issue as well!
So from what I can tell from this is that for some strange unexplained reason MP4 files have this problem, I cannot believe that nobody has brought this up before!?
On another note I played my episodes I was having that problem with in another player, this time I streamed it through a 360 through Vuze and I watched it and it was fine! even paused, and fast forwarded and rewinded it and the sound was in sync!
I guess Windows Media Player and VLC are to blame?
Or is MP4 to blame?
The way I see it is if 2 players can at least play my MP4 CORRECTLY and how they are ment to be viewed and VLC and Media CANT when you pause them or go ahead or back then its clear to me that my files are 100 percent fine!
I guess media player and VLC just have to get better
Just to add on some more, I tried with Live action films as well that were in MP4 format
For example I tried out Home Alone (1991)
And Eraser Head (1977)
All examples have the same result!
