Vegas freezing upon import of .m2ts files
I have the Hauppauge HD PVR that I use for recording on my PS3 and have been doing fine editing my recordings in Vegas for the past few days that were of the exact same file type, but now, all of a sudden, without changing any settings to the PVR, the files have started to crash Vegas upon even being selected to be imported to Vegas.
I have Sony Vegas 10.0c. I looked around on this forum and others have had similar problems, but solved them in ways I couldn’t (i.e. using a different computer). It is looking like the best option would be to convert them to another file type. If anyone knows the name of any good converters out there it would be much appreciated.

Try updating to Vegas 10.0e first and see….
