  Vegas freezing up with big R3D project.

  Hi,

  I have a project on Vegas Pro 12 (newest build). My footage is all raw r3d 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k and I am editing by building proxies.

  Now, when I open my project, it loads to about 32% and then freezes *not responding*. When I click on the screen after freezing, everything greys up typically.

  About 1 in 10 times, the freezing doesn’t happen and I commence with editing (but usually encounter a freeze when dragging clips around the timeline which forces a restart).

  Why is Vegas being so shit?

  I have experienced this on previous projects and I highly doubt I have corrupt files.
