Vegas, File Open
Is there a way to make this dialog start with File of Type = Vegas Project Files, instead of All Project and Media Files. This is friggin’ annoying … Thanks in advance.

No because it is capable of opening both projects and media.

That’s what I thought. Is there a way to drag-n-drop a Vegas file onto Vegas (like File Open)? When I do it, Vegas creates a new file and adds the Vegas file as a resource in Project Media.

Yes. Drag with the right mouse button instead of the left one, and when you drop, Vegas will display a context menu in which you can select Open Project.
