Vegas File Export SDK
Does anyone know if sony makes an SDK available to access their file export/rendering functionality? I’m looking to build an encoding engine using libavcodec/ffmpeg that appears as a format option in the “Render As” menu.
Any help? I know it can be done, it’s just a matter of how.

Yes you can download the SDK for vegas from their website
under the download menu where you see development kits.Steve Rhoden

Thanks Steve, but these are only for Scripting and Processing Plugin development. I’m looking for something that’ll assist me in writing a rendering engine accessible through “Render As”
A cow post from ’05 suggested there was also a File Export SDK available through Sony with the signing of an NDA, but I’ve had no luck tracking that down.
