    Good day everyone,

    i’m hopelessly stuck here at my project with a quite embarrassing and equally banal problem. Have a look please!

    As you can see in this example picture, i want this car picture (which is shown only half-way because it edges on the motion border) to appear above that specific yellow line in the middle of my video and i’m trying to achieve this via Pan/Crop tool.

    The problem here is, there seems to be absolutely no way to adjust Vegas’ workspace boundaries of the Crop box so that this image can appear right above the edge of that hypothetical yellow line.

    Is there any way to work arround this? Should i use the Track Motion tool instead, and if yes, how can i change the workspace boundaries in it?

    Any fast help is greatly appreciated!

    The trick is to right-click on the image in pan/crop and select “match output aspect”. This will let you position the image anywhere on the video.

    The pan/crop tool adjusts the position of the video frame relative to the source image, not the image relative to the video frame.
