VEGAS EFFECTS AND HIGH SPEED CARDS
I’m in the process of doing motion-tracked, multiple images, which are feathered around the borders. I have found Vegas5 to be very cumbersome in this realm, probably because I’m not totally used to it. I always seem to end up going back to After Effects, but it has it faults as well. Two questions:
1. Is there a high-end training product for using the outer limits of Vegas

Hi Rick,
There is no “acceleration” hardware for Vegas. Vegas is stricly a software only app which means the faster computer and storage you can throw at it, the more performance you’ll get. I’d suggest you use your preview resolutions and ram previews to get your effects tweaked before the final renders.
As to advanced training: I’m currently working with Class on Demand on such a product. If all continues on course, it should be available this summer.
