Hello Everyone,
I used sony vegas before , and i had a lot of problems while rendering it completly shutdown sony vegas or even add a clip into vegas, somehow only MP4 files worked so i had to convert each effect and clip one by one and then hope my vegas wont crash while rendering , im looking for help now , i reinstalled my pc and want to give it a try again since i have a passion and love to spend my freetime editing clips ! the vegas must work with Newblue fx and magic bullet looks also what codec i should use (klite codec or whatever)

My operation system: Windows 7 Ultimatum – 64 Bit

Rendering is the most single operation that will stress a pc to the point that it will reveal any shortcomings in hardware and settings/media profiles. Now, having said that, there’re some really bad bugs surfacing in the latest builds of Vegas 11 that are being addressed by SONY.

To ascertain just where you could lie amongst all this, you really need to post some more information:

• System Specs: RAM; System and Media drive size and space; GPU and driver

• Version of Vegas

• Project Settings

• Media being used

Once you posted this, and it can be compared to the SONY suggested specifications, then you’ll know where you stand.

To recap:

Knowing what your PC specs are, and what you’re expecting your PC to do, and what version of Vegas you have will prove just what part of this 3 way process could be failing. Presently, for many this still isn’t any clearer than there being bugs in VP11.

So, let’s see that info. There are many kind people here to add their experience and thoughts.

i had some help of my friends i installed vegas 9.0 and all ATM working good lets see when my big project is finished

Do as Graham said and for heavens sake, refrain from installing
codec packs, they are not needed and often causes problems
instead of helping.
