Hi John,

I’m having the same problem with Windows 8.1, that hotfix is only available for Windows 7 and 8, Windows 8.1 come bundled with Netframework 4.5. I contacted Microsoft support and they weren’t able to fix it, even after going through a remote session.

Have you contacted Sony? They should be able to help you. I don’t use Windows 8.1 so I don’t know what the problem might be buy Vegas Pro 13.0 should support Windows 8.1 (I’m using Windows 7).

Thank you I will, the weird part of this, is that my old Widows 8.1 computer works perfectly smooth with Windows 8.1 and Vegas.

Hi John, good news!

I installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 RC (DP46-KB3006563-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe) and the error is gone!
