Vegas changing aspect ratio from 4:3 to 5:4. I don’t want this to happen!
I am trying to do a simple conversion of a 4:3 video on Vegas Pro 19 (the very latest version). I have it all set to keep the same aspect ratio and resolutions of the original (720×576). However, the finished product keeps the resolutions but changes the aspect ratio to 5:4.
What’s going on and how do I fix it???

Hmm, isn’t ‘720×576’ a 5:4 aspect ratio?
So are you trying to create a 4:3 from the original 5:4 aspect ratio?

768×576 is 4:3
720*1.06666666 = 768
Make it 768×576 and change the PAR to 1.06666667?
720×540 is also 4:3 so you could also try that and change the PAR to 1.06666667?
Or just make it 720×540 and chop off the top 18 and bottom 18 pixels?
