Vegas Capture Problem
When I pick capture video with Vegas 6 running – everything works fine.
If I run vidcap direct (shortcut to the vidcap exe in the sony directory) is says “Sony Capture Xpress” and the buttons to mark in & out points are disabled.
WHY?
I recently reinstalled everything w/new computer and always just put a shortcut to the vidcap.exe to capture direct – but as I mentioned the advanced options buttons are disabled. The controls work and tapes are recognized.
What is going on?

Are you sure you don’t have Vegas Movie Studio or another lite version installed and are booting THAT capture program?

What version of Vegas are your running? (i.e. have you updated to 6.0c?)
