Vegas can’t preview a clip over 60fps?

Hold ctrl-shift down and then double-click on Vegas icon. It will ask you if you want to reset to default values? Enter yes.

it didn’t do anything, nor did it prompt me to reset settings, it just closes vegas instantly.

If you can’t get it to reset, then I’d suggest a re-install. Make sure that you back up all of your presets. Shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes.

How do I back them up, and is there any way to backup plugins aswell? Thanks.

There is no need to back up any plugins, after the re-install everything will be back where it should be.
