Vegas avi black in Premire 1.5
Howdy… I thought avi was fairly standard as I have not had this particular problem in the past… problem is I try to import vegas 7 rendered avi into prem pro 1.5 and video is in short chunks(maybe scene detection dont care) and is black(i care)… have tried cineform avi codec in vegas as well… would a nemo codec pack help me here? https://www.free-codecs.com/download/Nimo_Codec_Pack.htm Any Ideas?

Stay away from that codec pack.
Where did you get the video? Is it HDV? You mentioned Cineform which is only for HD/HDV.
How did you render the AVI in Vegas? Is it a DV AVI type2, or did you use DivX or some other export codec not designed to be edited.

no just some good ol dv 953 footage…Weird I just took back into vegas and it is black… I am group rendering this might be the problem…

All my Vegas rendered Cineform avi files play in Premiere without problem.
