  Vegas and Cannon 1080 24f format compatibility

  I would like to know if anyone has any experience in capturing 1080 24f footage from a Cannon HX and importing directly into Vegas. I know there is a capture mode for 1080 24p in Vegas but assume the some of the picture quality will be lost.
  Any help???
