First, I want to thank everyone who has helped me recently with the problems I’ve been having in Vegas. From what I’ve been hearing, I think it’s best for me to uninstall 9.0c and repalce it with 9.0b. My questions are 1) Are there any isues with 9.0b I should be aware of? and 2) Will my Vegas projects open up OK in 9.0b?

All the bugs that were fixed by 9.0c. 😉 (sorry to hear it’s not working for you) I really don’t remember I’ve been using 9.0c without issues.

    2) Will my Vegas projects open up OK in 9.0b?

Yes, your projects will open in any version of 9.x.

Thanks John. I can’t open most jpegs, tiffs or pngs in 9.0c. It comes up red on the timeline and doesn’t render. I’ve been told it doesn’t happen in 32bit, but I’m working in 64bit – and I use a lot of graphics and the like in my edits. I wrote Sony tech, but they never responded, and I can’t wait any longer for 9.0d.

Understood. In general you should avoid TIFF files if at all possible. Vegas does not process TIFF files natively and uses QuickTime to process them which can be real slow at times. I would stick with JPEG, PNG, and TARGA.
