    Vegas 9 Video Card Support

    I am purchasing a new eight core machine and I have the option to buy the new NIVIDIA Quadro FX 5800 is this overkill or can Vegas handle this card?

    Vegas will not make use of your vid card in any special way at all. Vegas is pure memory and cpu driven and the video card (what ever type it may be) will not have any effect.
