I’m still using 8.0c 32 bit on my 64 bit OS, because the 64 bit version of 8 turned out to have stability issues.

How is the current situation now with 9.0d 64 bit? How does it compare to the 32 bit version, is it just as stable?

    Thank you.

With the exception of my text item crashes reported in another post, the 32 and 64 bit versions of 9.0 have been 100% stable for me on Vista Ultimate 64 bit. No issues whatsoever on SD or HD assets.

I had noticed some stability issues with Vegas Pro 9.0c with the 64-bit version. I was not having any difficulties with the 32-bit version. After I recently saw that 9.0d came out, I gave the 64-bit version a try agaion. I am glad to say that the previously seen artifacts seem to be resolved. I will keep using the 64-bit version of 9.0d for the time being.

Mark, first you said that you had stability issues, later you talked about artifacts. Those are two different things. So what were the issues with 9.0c; unstable or artifacts and if there were artifacts, what kind of artifacts?
