vegas 9 and dvda (not supporting .mpg?)
using vegas 9 platinum and when i go to make a movie and select dvd it does all it’s stuff and ask to send to architect, i say yes, it opens dvda 4.5 studio and then says .mpg is not a supported format!? (that vegas just made with an ac3) i renamed the mpg .vob, m2v and no luck. advice greatly appreciated since i’m on a time crunch and a bit new to sony, i’m used to fcp. thnx SO much, steve

Something is not right. Have you every done this before and had it work? Maybe a re-install could clear things up? The output from Movie Studio should be acceptable to DVD Architect Studio.

i’m used to fcp but love vegas so far. when i click make a movie i see no options on format output and in the preferences i don’t find that either. so i assume it is making a file that will work with dvda since it asks if i want to send the file to dvda, and clicking yes opens dvda but only to get an error message that .mpg is not a supported file format. i’ve also tried changing extensions of the mpg to vob, m2a, mpeg, m2t and then open in dvda but still get same error message.
