Vegas 8.0 & Boris RED
I just upgraded to Vegas 8 from v7.0 and have developed a problem. When I’m working inside Vegas 8 and I want to apply a Boris RED transition or video filter, my Boris RED plugin doesn’t show up in the transitions or Video FX plugins inside Vegas 8. If I use Vegas 7, I don’t have any problems, but whenever I’m using Vegas 8, Boris RED doesn’t show up in my list of plugins.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Hmm…hadn’t noticed this yet, but you’re right; RED isn’t showing up in my media Generators.
Sounds like contact with Boris is in order. It likelyis that they haven’t written support for 8 yet. -

Boris hangs out in the Cow’s Boris FX forum, as does the Red product manager. Worth swinging by there if you haven’t.

TimPS. One of my teensy claims to fame is that when *I* was the Boris Red product manager, I talked Boris into adding Vegas support. Not a big audience today, I told him, but the most passionate users on the planet.
