I keep getting the following exception when attempting to import media files to my Vegas 8…..any help would be greatly appreciated…

Are you trying to import a specific format of file?
Or this happens with all files you try to import?If the later of my question is correct….Try at least by
Uninstalling Vegas….Restart your PC….and then reinstall it.Steve Rhoden

It’s with any file type. When I go to select the folder that I want to import from, it crashes. I tried the uninstall and install like you said and I’m still getting the same error

That then could maybe be some file corruption of some sort….
Run the disc check utility (right click on your system drive
and select properties….under the tools tab you will see it)..
and restart your pc and when its done checking see if the
