I installed Vegas 8 on my old machine, no problem, it first of all had to install .NET Framework 3.0, no problems.

However, tried to install it on my main editing machine and it can’t get past the .NET 3.0 installation. As Vegas 8 relies on this, Vegas doesn’t get installed.

Tried installing the .NEt framework first from MS, but the error log gives the following error…

[09/11/07,18:22:55] Windows Communication Foundation: [2] Error: Installation failed for component Windows Communication Foundation. MSI returned error code 1603
[09/11/07,18:23:08] WapUI: [2] DepCheck indicates Windows Communication Foundation is not installed.

I am stumped. There are a few suggestions about this but non of them have worked for me.

Anybody else had this problem? Solutions?

During installation I received an error message:
“The key \.ogg\ogg vorbis cannot be created…”.
The problem with the same key happened when I have tried to uninstall the previous version or SoundForge 8.
    Please help.
