Vegas 7e best rendering for Flash
Hi here,
All of my projects end up on my employers web site. So far, 98% of what I have done has been rendered as an .AVI file, DV NTSC, 29,97ips, 720 X 480, optimum quality, non-compressed PCM mono audio at 48000 Hz. When done, I transfert the file to Allok Video to FLV Converter 6.2.0603 and convert it to a standard .FLV file (not H264). My .AVI files are usually around 380 Meg in size. After conversion to .FLV, 320 X 240 QVGA (the standard size for our web site) I try to keep it to a maximun of 5 to 6 megs. Here’s the thing, Is there a better way of reducing the size of the original file so that I would end up with a much smaller one with a higher quality since, in the process of .FLV conversion, I have to use the median quality setting and not the ”superb” setting that gives me a file of around 18 Meg. What would be my best bet as for rendering options? Any and all comments would be more than welcome.
