I recently upgraded from Vegas 6 to Vegas 7. I immediately noticed a problem with my mouse. I run two monitors, and Vegas is spread out over the two screens. The moment I steer my mouse pointer onto the Vegas real estate, the ballistics of the mouse speed up. When I steer off onto the Windows architecture, it slows way down.

Also, the button will stick. I will click on something, and it is as if I hadn’t let go of the left mouse button. I have to repeatedly click the mouse button or hit the escape key to get it to let go.

As soon as I close Vegas, everything returns to normal. I have updated my Logitech mouse driver to 3.1.116, and it has not helped.

    Anybody have similar experiences?

I recall something with Logitech mice and a “games” option of some sort? The “games” option had to be turned off or you would get the symptoms you describe. Look in the mouse/Logitech control panel.
