I have had issues in v5.0 regarding the render process. My average file has about 10 tracks..motion background, video, Vegas text elements, and still photos. My average video length is about 10 minutes. I have a 1.69ghz processor, with 2gb RAM. I can’t seem to render anything past 20-30 seconds, and I get an error that relates to memory issues, and Vegas locks up. Now I’ve loaded v6.0, and I can’t render anything past 10-15 seconds. NOW…in v6.0 when I capture video, and hit the stop button, Vegas locks up and I get the memory error. “The instruction at “0x006435b6” referenced memory at “0x0000044c”. The memory could not be “read”.

I take my files over to another PC and the same version of Vegas and it runs beautifully for a couple of hours and finishes my render. What’s going on? Do I have a memory leak or bad Rambis Ram, or maybe I don’t have something set in Vegas right…please help. This is begining to get annoying!

..But Wait..There’s More..now that my project has been delivered, and I can begin testing some things out, I’ve discovered that Vegas 6 will push out MPEG1 and MPEG2 videos without any problems….I’m still having the issue when capturing video..it still locks up… Dennis
