VEGAS 18 Hangs at 2% when Opening a Project
I spent the last 6 hours editing a project in VEGAS 18. The project has crashed several times (behavior I sadly experience frequently with Vegas 18, so I autosave every 1 minute) but now there’s a new problem that’s even worse. The project hangs/freezes at 2% when opening — in other words, now it won’t even open at all. Any suggestions? I need to finish this project by tomorrow afternoon, and now it won’t even open. I have been using VEGAS software for more than a decade, but I am at my wits end with Vegas 18.

Move all the media to a new folder and then open the project. Do not look for the missing media. Now try to add each one back individually.
However, it could be a bigger issues. Some recent Windows updates have caused problems with Vegas being able to open some files. You can see more information here:
